The City of Coralville has 7 boards and commissions whose members are appointed by the Mayor and approved by the Council. All board and commission terms end on December 31 of the year the appointment expires.
Public notice of board and commission vacancies are sent out mid-October and applications are accepted until the end of November. Applications are available at Coralville City Hall. Applications can be submitted via email or mailed to:

The Mayor makes his recommendations to the Council in December. Successful applicants are notified and begin their terms January 1. If a position becomes vacant before October, the City Clerk will send out notice for applications.

Coralville citizens interested in being considered for any of these positions may apply no later than 5:00 pm on Friday, November 22, 2019. The Mayor will recommend appointees to the Council for approval in December.
