Additional Duties
In addition to their traditional law enforcement duties, patrol officers also respond to all medical emergencies in the City. Officers have received extensive training so that competent and compassionate emergency medical care can be delivered in the field.

- Enforcing traffic laws
- Engaging in proactive patrol in our residential neighborhoods
- Investigating traffic accidents
The patrol division is comprised of:
- 20 uniformed officers
- Six sergeants
- One lieutenant
- First Shift: 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
- Second Shift: 3:00 pm to 3:00 am
- Third Shift: 10:00 pm to 7:00 am
