Youth Summer Programs

Coralville Parks and Recreation offers several summer day camps for youth: 
All Day Camps
  • SPARK: For youth who have completed kindergarten through entering sixth grade; Monday-Friday, all day.
  • Trail Trekkers: For youth entering sixth through ninth grades; Monday-Thursday, all day. 
Partial Day Camps


  • CCPA Theater Camps: Age range varies by week; Monday-Friday, part day.
  • Specialty Camps: Age range varies by week; Monday-Friday, part day.

About SPARK (Summer Park and Rec Kids) up your child's summer at Coralville Parks and Recreation's weekly themed summer camps!
Age Completed kindergarten through entering sixth grade
Days Monday-Friday
Dates 9 weekly sessions, June 6 - August 12, 2022
Times
  • 8:30 am-4:30 pm (basic)
  • 7:30 am-5:30 pm (early/late option)
Activities Outdoor time, field trips, swimming, games, crafts, and special events. 
Health Precautions Keeping campers safe is our priority. We will seek guidance for camp operation from the Johnson County Health Department and follow guidelines set by the City of Coralville.
Locations
  • North: Van Allen Elementary
  • Central: Coralville Recreation Center / S.T. Morrison Park
  • South: Borlaug Elementary
Weekly Cost
  • Basic camp (8:30-4:30 pm): $200 per week
  • Early/late camp (7:30 am-5:30 pm): $230 per week
  • Additional field trip fees (sessions 2, 4, 6, & 8): $40-$50* 
Discount 10% discount per child, if registered for six (6) or more weekly sessions
Registration Register on a week-by-week basis (register for just the weekly sessions needed). Partial week registrations are not available.
