Does the Coralville Police Department offer internships?
The Coralville Police Department has a Student Internship Program that is open to students enrolled in a four-year degree program and has a junior or senior status at an accredited university or college OR a student that is enrolled in a two-year degree program and will have completed two thirds of the required credits for a degree. The student must also have 2.5 or higher grade point average on a 4.0 scale and be currently enrolled in an internship or independent study course. Unfortunately, due to a high demand for internships in the area, our agency does not offer internships to high school students or college students that don't meet these criteria. For more information or for an application packet, please contact the Coralville Police Department at 319.248.1800.
