Coralville’s 4thFest, an Independence Day tradition, is known for a free outdoor concert on July 3rd, and events on July 4th including the area’s largest 4th of July parade, activities for all ages, a patriotic concert in the park, and spectacular fireworks. Most 4thFest 2022 events are held at Coralville’s S.T. Morrison Park (1513 7th Street).
Due to the Independence Day holiday, all Coralville trash and recycling will be picked up one day later than usual all week.
In observance of Independence Day, City offices and the Library will be closed. The Recreation Center and Indoor Pool may be open with adjusted hours. There is no transit service. Trash and recycling will be picked up one day late all week.
The Coralville Arts Commission meets on the first Tuesday of the month unless otherwise noted. Meetings are open to the public. Refer to each month’s agenda for location, as some meetings include tours of local facilities. During the COVID-19 pandemic, meetings are held on Zoom. Directions for the public to attend Zoom meetings are included at the bottom of each month’s agenda.
The Planning and Zoning Commission meets on the first Wednesday of each month unless otherwise noted. Meetings are open to the public.
A Regular Meeting of the Coralville City Council is scheduled for the second and fourth Tuesday of the month. A work session follows the meeting.
The Citizen's Community Policing Advisory Board meets at 6:00 pm on the fourth Monday of the month, unless otherwise noted. Meetings are open to the public.
